Irene Egan

Practice Owner & Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal, 2019); Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2014) – University of Queensland

Irene is an APA titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Having worked and mentored in Brisbane’s specialised hips and pelvis physiotherapy clinic, Irene is experienced in assessing and managing complex conditions around these body areas. Whilst Irene enjoys treating all body areas, she is particularly interested in treating the neck and shoulders, back pain, hips and pelvis. Irene is also passionate about guiding injury prevention and performance optimisation when treating sporting injuries. Irene participated in research studying shoulder blade posture and neck pain as well as a management trial for plantar heel pain. Irene also completed further training in lymphoedema management.

Outside of work, Irene enjoys long walks and travelling with her family. Irene also speaks Mandarin Chinese.

 

Alanna Charron

Senior Physiotherapist

Masters of Physiotherapy (2013); Bachelor of Exercise (2011) – Griffith University

Alanna has accrued a wide array of experience in managing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Alanna is skilled in treating all areas of the body with a particular interest in managing back pain and knee injuries. With a background in both gymnastics and long-distance running, Alanna is equipped with special insight in injury management relating to these sports.

Alanna is a registered GLA:D back clinician and facilitates this program at our clinic.

While not in clinic, Alanna is kept extremely busy chasing after her four young children.

ANELMA WIID

Senior Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (1997) – University of Pretoria

Anelma is a senior physiotherapist with close to three decades of experience in private practice. She mainly works in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, but also has extensive experience treating neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. Anelma has worked as a physiotherapist in South Africa, Australia, and the United States.

Her special interests include core rehabilitation, headaches and migraines, TMJ (jaw), vertigo, fall prevention, chronic pain, and the connection between mental and physical health. Anelma is a certified Watson Headache practitioner. She has also trained in craniosacral therapy and voice movement therapy. Anelma recently completed a master’s degree in Diagnosis in Physiotherapy and is currently studying a master’s in clinical counselling.

She is very much a people person and takes a holistic, whole-person approach to care. She finds her work deeply gratifying and an absolute privilege.

 

KIERAN SINCLAIR

Physiotherapist

Master of Physiotherapy (2021); Bachelor of Exercise Science (2019) – Griffith University

Kieran started as a strength and conditioning coach in 2010, working in regional Australia, the USA and the Middle East with teams and individuals before becoming a physiotherapist in 2021.

His pursuit of betterment has led him to additional training in Sports Physiotherapy Levels 1 & 2, neurological and stroke rehabilitation, injury management of the wrist, knee, and shoulder as well as acupuncture, which he uses alongside exercise-based rehab and hands-on treatment to support recovery and performance.

Kieran loves working with recreational athletes and high schoolers who love their sport and puts a focus on consistent communication and collaboration with parents and team coaches throughout the rehab process. Having spent years helping athletes of all levels move and perform at their best, he’s developed a practical, down-to-earth approach that blends coaching know-how with solid clinical skill. When he’s not being a physio, Kieran enjoys tabletop games, Crossfit, and Olympic freestyle wrestling.

 

Anna Middleton

Senior Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Physiotherapy – University of Queensland (1996)

Anna is a highly regarded and skilled physiotherapist with almost 30 years of experience. She is the founder of Flex Physio. Anna combines experience and expertise to provide high quality physiotherapy in the areas of sports, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and post-surgical conditions. She has a special interest in managing shoulder dysfunction and pain. Anna is also previously known as “The Shoulder Physio”.

Cindy Cailliaux

Remedial Massage Therapist

Diploma of Remedial Massage 

Cindy holds a Diploma degree in Remedial Massage Therapy. She is passionate about helping clients feel more at ease in their bodies, guiding them toward a more comfortable, pain-free life. With training in various techniques including relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy, Cindy brings a versatile skill set to her practice. Her mindful and holistic approach is enriched by over six years of personal yoga practice. This appreciation for movement and body awareness allows her to adapt each session to suit the unique needs of her clients, supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.
