Consultation Fees

Flex Physio is the only physiotherapy clinic to offer one hour initial appointments for musculoskeletal conditions.

Our clinic believes patients should leave her clinic with a thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, targeted rehabilitation program and a clear understanding of their condition and prognosis. Flex Physio believes in quality rather than quantity when delivering optimal physiotherapy to patients.

Flex physio follow up consultations are 45 minutes ( not the standard 30 minutes) to continue the focus on high quality physiotherapy

Fees:
 Initial Consultation (45 min)             $130
Follow up Consultations (45 min)     Senior Physiotherapist $115 | Physiotherapist $105
Individualised Gym Program supervision and setup and includes online program $180 per hour
Shoulder classes $40 per hour (health fund rebatable)

Flex Physio Cairns is a registered physiotherapy provider for:
  • All Private Health Insurance Funds
  • Medicare
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs
  • CTP & Sports Insurers

Private Patients: You are requested to pay at the time of your consultation. HICAPS (private health fund electronic claiming service) and EFTPOS facilities (debit and credit cards) are available.
The amount and type of rebate is dependent upon your private health fund and your level of cover. To determine in advance if you qualify for a rebate, how much the rebate will be, or for more information, please contact your health fund directly.
A doctor’s referral is not necessary to see a Physiotherapist in private practice.

DVA Patients: Your accounts will be billed to DVA directly. A current doctor’s referral is necessary.

Workers’ Compensation Patients: You may have your accounts billed directly to the insurer, provided you have an approved Workers’ Compensation Claim and the appropriate medical certificates.

GP Management Plan Patients: You must have a current referral from your GP. You are required to pay in full for the amount of the treatment, however, we are able to claim your rebate from Medicare immediately, provided you bring your Medicare card and debit card to each appointment. The Medicare rebate for Physiotherapy is $52.95*.
